In honor of Saint John Bosco, who was a great teacher and example for young people, let’s share this video with as many people as possible. Thanks to Christopher Stefanik for being a modern-day teacher and good example for all of us involved in educating young people in the faith.
Hopefully, more young people will think about the content of the programming on the TV and computer that they are consuming…Here is the first reading from the readings for Today’s Mass that prompted me to share this video again today…
FIRST READING Phil 4:4-9
Brothers and sisters:
Rejoice in the Lord always.
I shall say it again: rejoice!
Your kindness should be known to all.
The Lord is near.
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
make your requests known to God.
Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding
will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters,
whatever is true, whatever is honorable,
whatever is just, whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious,
if there is any excellence
and if there is anything worthy of praise,
think about these things.
Keep on doing what you have learned and received
and heard and seen in me.
Then the God of peace will be with you.
Thanks for taking a few minutes to share with me in the Word of God…Blessings on the rest of your day!
