Choose to be stubborn or choose to follow…

Reading:  This wicked people who refuse to obey my words, who walk in the stubbornness of their hearts, and follow strange gods to serve and adore them, shall be like this loincloth which is good for nothing. For, as close as the loincloth clings to a man’s loins, so had I made the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah cling to me, says the LORD; to be my people, my renown, my praise, my beauty. But they did not listen.  (Jeremiah 13:10-11)

12 He proposed another parable to them. “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a person took and sowed in a field. 13 It is the smallest of all the seeds, yet when full-grown it is the largest of plants. It becomes a large bush, and the ‘birds of the sky come and dwell in its branches.'”  (Matthew 13:21-32)

Observation:  So, I was trying to decide if I should post my blog or go into the store and look around.  When the decision came down to 1.99 for internet access for 60 minutes or spending 2 dollars to get something from this world, I guess there was no decision to be made.

Personification:  Love (Charity) – Quick to sense the needs of the people with whom we work and live and respond as Jesus would.   A line from Father Stan Fortuna this weekend and from one of his songs, is…”Forget about me, I love you.”  I would like to display this fruit to everyone today, including the young people that are beginning to drive me crazy.  We will be home today and I hope they choose to share God’s love with their families, and they can all truly say, “Forget about me, I love you!”

Prayer:  Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.  I ask this, as always, in the name of the Father, Son and the holy Spirit.  Amen.
